What Is KAP?
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) combines prescribed ketamine with intentional preparation and psychotherapy. Ketamine may create a temporary window of increased openness and flexibility; therapy provides a compassionate structure for exploring what emerges and integrating meaningful insights afterward. Medical screening, prescribing, and medication management are provided by an independent qualified medical provider.
An IFS-Informed Approach
My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems and may also incorporate Brainspotting, Art Therapy, and body-based awareness.
We work gently with protective parts, clarify intentions, and make space for what emerges without forcing a particular outcome.
Is KAP Right for You?
KAP may be considered when it is clinically and medically appropriate. It is not right for everyone, and suitability is determined collaboratively. I provide psychotherapy, preparation, and integration support; medication is prescribed and medically managed by an independent qualified provider.
